Northern Health's Pandemic Influenza Response Plan

In order to be prepared for future possible pandemics, Northern Health has organized its Pandemic Influenza Response Plan. This plan is part of NH's emergency/disaster management system, which uses the BC Emergency Response Management System (BCERMS) standards for managing the response to any emergency or disaster.

The plan has three sections: 1) an introduction, 2) a section providing specific information related to the threat and assigns roles and responsibilities for key program and department responders (Operational Guidelines) and 3) a section of specific activities for responders based upon various degrees of threats (Appendices). NH staff will regularly test and updat this plan.

2009 Systemic Therapy Terrace & Kitimat Review

The Systemic Therapy review of the Terrace and Kitimat oncology programs set forth to
assess the delivery of chemotherapy in the region and provide guidance to the Northern
Health Authority (NHA) with respect to delivery and integration of clinical services into a
region wide program.
